What countries do you ship to?
We ship to most countries and territories in the World via the following domestic and international couriers:
United States Postal Service (USPS)
United Parcel Service (UPS)
Federal Express (FedEx)
With the exception of Officers of the United States on reserve or active duty, we do not service:
Democratic Republic of the Congo/Republic of the Congo
What are my shipping options?
Purchasing Online (through OTGP's online shop)
Shipping is primarily via USPS First Class or Priority Mail domestically; First Class Mail International or Global Priority Mail internationally.
If the USPS is not preferred, tell us which courier is by providing comments during or after a purchase. If we can reasonably change couriers offering a comparable service, we will do so or provide at least one alternative.
Customers requiring a specific shipping preference beyond the scope of the standard shipping policy will be required to pay an additional shipping fee equal to the difference of the one charged at the time of order placement and the actual cost of the preferred shipping method.
The only time a courier can be switched is prior to order shipment; we do not charge fees for switching couriers unless the preferred courier is significantly higher in cost.
Purchasing Online (through other websites)
Customers purchasing our products and services on other websites, such as Amazon.com, will have orders shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail domestically; First Class Mail International or Global Priority Mail internationally.
Can I use a shipping account?
We do not accept shipping accounts at this time.
Does the USPS redeliver?
For United States customers, not automatically. A missed delivery can be:
Picked up at the location on a delivery notice or
Rescheduled on a delivery notice or
Rescheduled on the USPS website
For International customers, the local mail delivery system has its own rules and regulations which differs for each country.
Does UPS or FedEx redeliver?
Yes. There are typically two additional delivery attempts before an order is returned. Additionally, some couriers offer recipients the ability to reschedule delivery.
I live in the Washington, D.C. Metro area and would like to pick my order up instead of paying shipping fees.
For some products, local pickup is available; a product’s description page, whether being purchased directly through our online shop or other websites, will state if local pickup is available.
If my shipping address is incorrect, how do I change it?
Contact us as soon as possible to make address corrections. If an order ships, the address cannot be changed in-transit. It will either:
be returned to us if no one resides at the incorrect address
be returned to us if the address does not exist
be returned to us if the customer refuses delivery
Once we receive an order and it has not been tampered with, a full credit of that order will be issued inclusive of any applicable tax and excluding shipping and handling.
If we receive an opened or used order, a refund will only be given at our discretion and we reserve the right to not issue a refund if grossly different from what was originally shipped.
My order was lost in transit. What do I do?
We will contact the courier and issue a refund or replacement as necessary. If a courier shows an order as delivered and a customer asserts otherwise, there may be a delay in refund issuance or replacement until an investigation has concluded an order's whereabouts.
What do I need to know about my country’s customs system?
Shipments to and from a country are subject to screening at all times. If an item is found in violation of a country’s laws, it may be confiscated, a fine assessed, or both. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine whether a product has import prohibitions from certain countries.
Additionally, the United States may prohibit an item from being exported if a customer, their party or company has been listed as a prohibited recipient. If we are informed that this is the case prior to or after shipment, the customer will be notified and refunded accordingly.
Do I have pay import duties?
It depends on the delivery address. Some countries assess taxes based on the nature of a shipment and/or its value, including shipping costs, whether a customer actually pays a shipping fee or not (i.e., if no shipping fee applies to an order, it still appears on a customs notice and a tax value can be based on that figure).
If you're unsure if taxes are imposed for certain purchases, calculate import duties to see what you can expect. This fee must be paid prior to receiving a purchase.
Do you ship to rural areas?
Yes. For all United States territories, we don’t impose surcharges. For all other countries, we will ship to rural areas if possible but an order may be assessed surcharges for a delivery due to distance.
We ensure customers understand any delivery surcharges prior to processing an order if the courier imposes irregular fees due to the delivery location.
Why don’t I see tracking information?
USPS tracking information should be available a day after an order is shipped. Information is not always immediately available through the USPS website; this applies to domestic and international orders. UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT shows information the same day of shipment.
Do you ship to Military, Army, Navy, or Air Force addresses?
Yes. Normal United States Rates apply (where applicable) and delivery can only take place via the USPS.
Do you ship to Post Office Boxes (U.S. States/Territories Only)?
Yes. The only courier that can ship to Post Offices Boxes is the USPS.
Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii? How about International U.S. Territories such as Puerto Rico?
Do you charge additional shipping fees or surcharges for non-contiguous U.S. States?
We do not add surcharges for non-contiguous U.S. States or territories. All customers, domestic and international, pay the shipping fee quoted during the purchase process if a shipping fee applies.
Do you charge additional shipping fees for very small or very large orders?
No. The only shipping fee customers pay is the one during the purchase process. Large or multi-shipment orders are not assessed additional fees.
Why are lithium batteries or products containing them shipped separately?
USPS Regulation 349.222, as it applies to rechargeable lithium batteries, requires a maximum of three batteries per mailpiece for safety reasons.
We are required by all shipping couriers to handle lithium batteries in a specific manner because in the event of an explosion (not necessarily caused by batteries), the presence of multiple batteries will worsen a situation and be difficult to extinguish.
